I just got Verizon FiOS TV on Friday with multi-room DVR, and Media Manager was installed in our main computer (the one directly connected to the router). Several audio files were uploaded to Media Manager, and I was able to access these songs on TV. However, when I tried to play them, there was no audio. The song information was displayed on the screen, and it even said the song was playing. We called tech support, who was unable to help us over the phone. Today, our DVR box was replaced, and the technician tried every solution he could think of to fix it: a new box, resetting the box, reinstalling Media Manager, and so forth. However, nothing worked, and there is no change. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks a lot.
what's the file format on those songs?
check if they are actual mp3's
or .m4a or .flac?
they are most likely mp3's but i'm just throwing it out there
was the router replaced? could be a streaming issue with that too
