Verizon Bureaucracy

I am new to Verizon Fios. The services are excellent.

My problem is the beaucracy. To start with Ii received multiple communications by e-mail and phone telling meinstallation would be between 1 and 3 PM on Friday. At 4pm I decided to call to find out when and if the installer was coming. He arrived at 6PM.

Last week I received an e-mail telling me I need to make a contact to activate my bundling billing or I would lose my discounts.I followed the directions and a nice young man was most helpfull in getting me through the process. Today i received another e-mail telling me i needed to activate the bundling thing. My question is why is this so difficult?
