Some FIOS Install Questions

My DSL service has gotten somewhat unreliable lately and am considering changing over to FIOS but have some installation questions I hope someone can answer.  All I would be getting is voice and internet as TV is not yet available in my area

1)  I would like to have the ONT installed inside the house.  This is approximately 20' from where the phone line currently enters the house.  Is this possible?

2)  If the answer to #1 is YES, how large a hole is needed through the side of the house to allow the fiber cable to pass through?

3) What is the approximate size of the ONT?  The Battery Backup Unit?  I am trying to figure out how much space would be needed to mount all of these items.

4)  After the install, will the old phone line from the street to the house be removed?

None of the old phone lines are touched for now. When the installer comes out you can tell them where to put the battery backup but it must be plugged in at all times to stay charged. ONT is a foot wide by foot high. Whole is not noticable at all. You will love it...
