I have only heard about these 2 models. I have not heard about the DCT6400. It might be the same as the 6414.

Motorola DCT6414 HD DVR (For HD)
Motorola DCT2500 (for SD)

Do you have an install date? I live in Murrieta and we are close to getting Fios TV.

    2500 - Standard definition
    6200 - High Definition
    6416 - High Definition + 160Gb DVR
