I  am on for install on for the 18th in Temple Terrace and have some questions. The FIOS inground box is on the opposite end of the property from my phone box and the old cable box is also on the back of the house also on the far side (though I now have Direct TV).  To do the install on that side of the house would require taking the cableunder my driveway and across lots of inground sprinkler pipe over the length of my property.  I would prefer having the install on the opposite side of the house which is where my computer is and the ONT could be in my garage.  If I have to I would purchase a wireless phone system for the house to avoid rewiring the whole inside of the house with the Cat 5.  (I will need to get a new install on one of my TV  locations anyway as I don't have cable to it.)  Do I need to talk to someone up front about this location change possibility or should I just wait until the installer shows up on the 18th? I want the install done the best way and thought I needed to talk to someone up front.  Any chance of doing that and how would I do it?  Thanks

sir
The fiber to the ONT will problably be run under the drive way. By all means talk to them about the wiring situation. They will not want to place the ONT in the garage. The access to repairman is a must. You can us wireless for the ethernet.  The wireless phone is also possible. Remember wireless links are not that reliable.
