PIP on my HDTV

I am in Temple Terrace,Florida and still waiting for the FIOS TV to come to my street. Will I have to get two HDTV tuners for my HD ready TV to get Picture-in-Picture, even if I get the DVR?

I'm no expert, but I think this depends on your TV.

1. The Verizon HD DVR does not have a PIP feature built in. Well, it does have the option on the remote, but it doesn't work (not supported per Verizon rep).
2. I don't think they make a TV that supports an HD picture inside another HD picture. Usually the 2nd picture comes from another source (coax, analog video, or possibly PC).

I have 2 HD TV's and neither supports PIP in 1080i HD mode. If your TV does support this, the 2nd signal will not be HD.
