One year anniversary with Fios

So, it has been a year, and here are my thoughts. Love the high speed internet, but now that MSN Premium is no longer part of the package, I am left wondering if I will be getting money off my monthly bill. Hmmmm...Probably not! Phone is crystal clear. Fios TV? Not so much. The DVR just sucks. There is no nice way to put it. Every single recorded show we watch has skips and stutters, places where the screen just turns green and then either stops or jumps ahead. Every single one. The remote is finicky, and the buttons are not user friendly. I like HD TV, but have decided that my nice TV will have to just do with regular TV when my two years are up. I will stay with Fios Internet and phone, but I will not keep the TV part. Too expensive for bad performance. Only very seldom did we have an issue with a recorded show when we had Direct TV, and the Direct TV DVR held more. My reason for switching from Direct TV was that they were infinitely more expensive for thier HD TV, but with the poor performance of Fios TV, I can live without HD. If you are jumping from cable to Fios you will be happy, but if you are changing from Direct TV, I would suggest otherwise.
