What happened to all the FIOS that was coming to Pinellas County, ST Pete, Clearwater, etc, FIOS fizzed out or what??

Is it a state secret? Nobody replys to the question, today i saw many Verizon trucks as well as new little red flags,,, but NO news about Verizon installing St Pete.. An what happened to the contractors? lots of unemployed workers out there that could do the work>> Sad>>> are you listening VERIZON???
