The StartOk so I launch Maplestory and in a few seconds, I get the
"We are unable to connect to the login server due to a server check, a firewall block or other network issues."
What I tried1. First thing I did was go into my security program>Norton Internet Security> and check out the stuff the firewall blocked.
It came out to be that the firewall
did not block Maplestory.
2. I tried it out a few more times and came out with the same outcome.
3. So then I decided to play a different game, 8baller, a pool game, for example.
When I enter a room, it isn't able to connect either.
4. Then I asked a friend to check out my problem by using the program
Teamviewer. I wasn't able to do that since it required connection and it said "Only LAN connections are possible."
5. I then tried Maplestory ONCE more and it worked this time, I found that pretty odd. Nevertheless, in about 1 hour, I dced and got the firewall/server check box when I tried launching it again.
6. I went on my other computer which is connected to the same network as my computer is, and tried out Maplestory, same thing.
7. My friend came over with his laptop and connected to my network in order to play Soldier Front, there was some connection error for that also.
8. My brother went on his computer, connected to the same network, to play Halo, and when you click "Get List" which lists all the servers, a connection error comes up saying "Error connecting to GameSpy server."
The best guess I have is it's some sort of lack of connection or some type of router problem. Remember that it affects any computer connected to my network and it works sometimes but then after a certain amount of time, we get the error again.
Hope one of you has a solution to my problem, I've googled my problem with no significant results, please try to help out.
EDIT: ISP: Verizon Fios, Router: Actiontec M1424WR. I can surf the internet through sites and everything, its just GAMES that need to connect to something else that don't work
