looking to get fios package

me and my family are looking to get the fios tv and internet and  also the phone..i have a few questions..first how does this get hooked up whats the process of installation, currently we have cablevision

can i use my zyxel x-550 wireless router or we have to use theres? 2 of my computers are wirelessly connected

if we have to use there router can i setup port forwarding on the router they give you

download speed and upload speed is important to me since i use bittorrent how does fios internet work with bittorrent any problem do they work smooth and fast?

with the phone would we be able to keep our phone number that we have now

Verizon uses the Actiontec router. You will have to daisychain your router with the actiontec if you want to use your router. The actiontec is a wireless router. You will have to google it for more info. I am too tired to look it up.

Same as any other provider. I have not heard of any problems using bittorrent.

Yes. Fios is still basically the same service except the signal goes over fiber instead of copper.

Ditto on all the answers but i gotta add in to the bittorrent
i had mine set up and it was just better than i expected
yeah i work for the company but seriously
if you get the right port going and the right set up in your bittorrent
you're gonna be flying
given that you have good torrent of course
