Hi - I posted this in technical questions, but thought I might post it here also since I see questions regarding the router --

I have a D-Link DPR-1260 wireless print server which was originally working with my D-Link router from Verizon. Now that I have been upgraded to the FIOS Bundle Pack and have received an Actiontec M1424-WR Broadband Router, I am wondering how to connect my wireless print server to it?  Or do I need to purchase another wireless print server to connect to the Actiontec router (I know Actiontec has a wireless print server but I would first like to try and make the DPR-1260 work)?

Thanks for any info that can shed light on this.

Not sure.  Isn't there an uplink port on the Action-tec you could use?

it is seldom when i see problems with print servers
but just in case you haven't tried the obvious
the Actiontec router verizon provides has wep security enabled
you will have to put this information in the print server set up screen
the SSID and WEP-KEY are printed on a sticker on the side of the router.

ps: the key is printed in uppercase. make sure you type it in lowercase

I can also add to check with D-link for any software updates, or different configuration, remember they are the ones that have to upgrade their equipment to work with new technology Cheesy
