Tiny Hard drive

Does anyone know how big the hard drives are on the DVRs?  I have two standard dvrs and the capacity is pitiful.  Only 40 hours or so.  I thought they were supposed to be upwards of 85 hours.  This is pathetic.

It is a 160gig hard drive. I think it is 85 hours of SD. If you record HD, it will be less.

On my two standard definition DVRs, i am only able to get 40 hours or so.  (if I'm lucky!)  Its ridiculous.
