FiOS in Tennessee

I would like to know from someone exactly why FiOS is not coming to Tennessee.  We already have the groundwork here, but I believe AT&T and Comcast are keeping Verizon from getting a foothold here in the broadband market.

Right now Verizon is only deploying FiOS in their landlline operating areas and not all of them. They have no presence in Tennessee at all. They may start deploying out of franchise in the future but probably only in areas close to their operating area.
