Verizon FIOS router with Vista

I am having a problem with my home network since Verizon installed a new router. I had 3 computers networked with a Netgear router and could share files and printers. Since installing the new Verizon FIOS router the one computer running Vista is no longer available on the network to the other two. It does access the internet ok thru the router. Has anyone experienced this and or has a resolution. I tried shutting down the router firewall but that did not help. Can I add my old router daisy chained off the new router? I tried but could not get it to work

I heard one other person complaining about this, but all I can say is it came down to a Vista problem and not really the router.  Probably have better luck finding a solution in a Vista tech help forum somewhere.  I'm still using XP thank god and all I keep hearing about is the stupid stuff like this that's built into Vista to supposedly help better protect users. 
Have you tried using the networking wizard (if there is one) and see if it won't auto detect on-line computers or some kind of home networking wizard like XP?  Are they all on cat5 or wirless?
