FiOS in New York

hi,

The first news I heard that FIOS was coming near my area (Capital Region near Albany) is when I heard it was coming to Clifton Park, and Latham.  Now I hear that it is currently being installed in Colonie!  I LIVE IN COHOES, so when does anyone think it will come here?

I have fiber on the poles right outside my window, on my street, but I cannot tell if any of it is geared or ready for FIOS.

Does anyone have any idea when COHOES is supposed to get FIOS?  Since Clifton Park and Latham already have it or are getting it, and Colonie is getting it next (or currently is getting it) ....

I currently have Verizon DSL rated at 1.5K (actually 1792 down x 448 up) and I am waiting in Cohoes, New York, zip code 12047.
(for any of you that dont know where this area is, I am 20 minutes outside of Albany the Capital, which is 3 hours north of NYC)

any ideas?
