Is it possible to DMZ another router?

I figure theres a reason this clunky router is here, but is there a way I can connect another router and have it on a DMZ port so that it gets.. naked access? That way more complications don't arise? The Actiontec router just doesn't handle torrenting that well so this is why I'd rather use my other router. If anyone can tell me what to do to accomplish this, let me know. TIA.
