I am going to run a prewire today - intially I am just getting FIOS internet but may, in the future, also add in TV. Can I use cat 5 for the whole run or should I use coax?
Does cat 5 degrade over time? (i have about 100 feet of unused cable that has just been sitting for the past 3 years, it does have some kinks in it)
