(No) FIOS Frustration

Hi all

I live in Chevy Chase, Montgomery County, Maryland (inside the beltway). It seems that everyone around us now either has or can get FIOS - in Kensington, in Bethesda, you name it. I even saw the FIOS truck on the main road next to ours, went out and spoke to the engineer, and was told that he was installing FIOS! Yay! Well, that was 2 months ago!!! And still no FIOS!! What happened?

Can someone help? Is there anyway I can phone a Verizon person and ask? (And not get the usual anoying answers)(yes, I have gone to the website and checked and done the notification thing).

(I can't wait to get rid of Comcast!).
