I can't seem to get good picture quality on my WD-52627 DLP. Some hd channels are good but digital, analog and some HD is fuzzy. I had Verizon out here 3 times. The techs don't have a  clue on what could be wrong.  Cry

from my experince most picture quality issues are on the premise and nothing to do with signal strength from the provider.

consider one of these few things

1. bad installation - we're talking about fiber here,  it could be an issue with a dirty fiber. although, if that was the case all of your ther services would be intermittent as well.

2. bad inside wiring - how old is your home? might the coax cabling be deteriorating?

3. loose input/output connections - by far it is the most common reason for bad picture quality.

4. bad tv inputs - have your tried changing the cables to another input on the tv or used a copletely different type of input all together?

What inputs are you using for the settop box. On all DLP TVs i use an S-video cable for the low-def channels and HDMI for high-def. I know its kind of a pain having to switch inputs but the problem should be solved. On the some HD is fuzzy: I'd bet the programming you're watching isn't really in HD. Just because a program is on a HD channel doesn't mean its in HD. Its up to the content provider to supply the HD feed if possible. Tune to discovery HD and look at picture it should be awesome, now look at some of the other HD pictures your having trouble with. National Geographic channel shows alot of lowdef on their highdef channel as does ESPN, its not the fiber its the content provider. Judge Judy isn't being broadcast in high def, but its in the high def channels on the local feed.
The switching inputs has worked for my customers for a long time, i wish we had the problem fixed but.........
