My office is about 50 yards from another building that has FIOS Internet service, yet everytime I call Verizon to get service, they tell me it's not available. In fact I'm on a street that has about 30 mostly technology-based businesses with very poor high speed internet services, and all tell me the same story - VErizon says it's unavailable. I would think with so many businesses eager to join, Verizon would make the effort to extend their fiber another couple of hundred feet to get some new business. My business is actually involved with television distribution and we may be uploading content soon to VERIZON FIOS television VOD services, it would be so nice if I could have a fast and reliable Internet service to accomplish this. My home gets innundated almost weekly with FIOS offerings, why isn't Verizon as aggressive in getting business FIOS service established.
