DVR Series Manager

Is it me, or does not the series manager not work correctly with the fios? I notice if a show is moved to a different time slow it will not record it.

For example I had King of Queens for recording. I selected the 8pm EST show and set it to record the series. It did not set the 830pm EST episode which was a new episode to be recorded.

Is there a setting I am missing. When I had Time Warner and Cablevision I just hit series record and it was perfect.

I've experienced this too.  There is an option to "record at this time only" or "record anytime" in the Series Options menu, but I haven't found that to be completely reliable (or at least predictable).  Maybe it's just because I am used to Tivo, but this DVR leaves A LOT to be desired.

it might sound irrelevant right off the bat
but do you happen to turn your router off at any point during the day?

it could be an issue with the dvr ip connectivity.
the dvr constantly updates the programming information
so it could be an issue with it no communicating with the server when it needs to

i'll be looking into the issue on my end to give you a better response
