We've got Fios Internet in Oregon - how much is FiosTv?

We've been very happy with our Fios Internet service here in Hillsboro, Oregon (20 miles west of Portland). I consistently get 5MB down and near 2MB up. We got it installed in June 2006.

Right now we're considering changing our DirecTv service because the price has been going up steadily every year (15-20%). We are considering switching to Dish Network, but I'd really like to compare the cost FiosTv especially if it's going to be rolled out here in the next 6 months.

I guess I have a couple of questions:
1) How much is FiosTv for those that have it? Was there a price increase this year?
2) Any ideas on how long after Fios Internet deploys FiosTv is deployed? (I know Verizon isn't saying anything)

1) I just got rid of my DirecTV and got FiOS TV. I'm a very happy camper.  If you go here, you can find out more details about pricing:

Basically, it's $40 ($39.95), but if you have Internet it's $35.  Then add any special packages you might want.  Everything's layed-out in very understandable language so you don't feel like you're getting screwed as in DirecTV's language.

2) You sound like you're in the Navy.  I've never heard anyone say "deployed" like that in the real world.  Maybe that's why Verizon isn't saying anything.  I'm not trying to make fun of you.  Seriously.  But I don't know what you're asking, either.  Sorry.  Can you re-word your question in normal English?

FIOS TV is about $40 plus the Set Top Box which can run you anywhere from $12.95 to $19.95 for the Multi-Rm DVR plus $3.95 for STB in other rooms. On top of that, add Franchise Fees they pay your city.  The reason you may not have FIOS TV may be another cable company has the franchise for your city.
