Has anyone been experiencing horizontal lines across the HD channels?

Also my boxes seem to randomly loose their programming and need to be reset.

Am I alone with these issues or are they things verizon needs to look into. I know in my case if this is not resolved this week I will be cancelling.

    I have had FiOS TV for 13 months now and have never experienced either of those problems. Have you called the FiOS Support Center and reported them? If not, how do you expect Verizon to know you have problems? Of course they are things Verizon needs to look into. And my experience with Verizon support is they are very responsive, far more so than the cable company I previously used.

    Well I have called them and here are the results

    Call: Last Week Monday
    Result: Not sure of the problem we will dispatch someone to your house tomorrow between 3-6pm, Tech comes the next day at 10am and says "I am not sure of what I am doing" and just walks out.  OF course I was not home since i was told 3-6pm, my mother was and she was not going to cause an ordeal.  God knows If he said that to me I would have made him call Verizon and repeat it to the Tech Support again!

    Call: Tuesday Night
    Result: Tech support realizes that there is a spliter which is the reason for the bad reception. Now why didnt the tech yesterday think of this.

    Call: Today
    Result: When I tell the tech, during the week the issue was with the wire, they say it is the box. In the process, they blast my box and now I do not even get a picture.. on FOOTBALL SUNDAY! They said they will send a tech sometime this week. If I dont see a tech monday I will probably end up cancelling. Its a shame because I actually like the FIOS tv.

    I guess I want to see if I am alone on this? I am not felling comfortable with a 1 year contract for the TV at this moment. As of now I have dealt with 4 techs out of which only 1 has been knowledgable, the rest seem to try what ever is scripted and then write off issue.

    And before anyone jumps on me for being negative with the verizon techs, I did make sure to get amanager to commend the one person that has been helpful. I did not mention my previous experiences, I just stated that this tech was greatly appreciated.  Having worked helpdesk in my life, I know its very important to compliment those who deserve it since HD/support is one of the hardest jobs, being that most of the time you are dealing wtih frustrated people as it is.
