I was leaving home for school yesterday and I noticed a loop of a wire that I don't think has been there before. So when i got home off the school bus I looked closer and saw that it was a loop of black wire hanging on the pole and there was like some sort of orange something. I got some pics:

(look higher up on this one and you will see the orange I was talking about)

Looks like the fiber cable was placed in your neighborhood! Next step will be for a splicer to come out to place and splice the terminal. The loop will probably be moved to the left of the pole and a rectanglular terminal will be mounted on the cable. Within about 30 days the FiOS should be available. It takes that long because the system has to be built, tested and then entered into a records data base.

WOOT! So the terminal will be placed on my pole. Cool, I get to see everything. I guessing it will since im the only person with that loop on the pol in front of us. So now I have to wait for someone to splice it and put up ther terminal.
