What are Verizon's FiOS Deployment Requirements

What I would like to know is what the basic requirements are for deploying FiOS to an area?  I have no High Speed internet available, and would like to have some.  I am not out in the middle of nowhere, just between some places in Southwest Michigan, and Northwest Indiana.  What would I have to do to convince Verizon that they should run Fibre out to my area?

Unforti\uatly, the priority is  AL N?EW homes prior to older neighbouhoods.
We have been living here  7 months now,  brand new it took Verizon 3 months to hoook us up and nearly 6 months to get the  Gate Call panel dialed in.......
So even with new homes they are way behind.
