Does anyone know if the Verizon Wireless is usable Broadbsand  ?
I was asked if a buisness can use the Verizon Wireless for their remote offices, I do not have  Verizon Cell service, so i am wondering if and what bandwith does the Wireless service supply?
Thanks

Got my VZ wireless broadband card today. Sor far best speed from speakeasy is 587/126. I am using it on an old HP Omnibook 6100 laptop with Windows XP Pro.

Are you in a  metropolitan Area ?
EVDO is supposed to be much higher than that  in major cities ?

I'm in the Dallas area. I did another test at home and got 742/96. Yes that's KB. My signal shows two bars at home. I may need to get the external antenna.

I moved my laptop to my kitchen by a window and got 820/102. Guess the speed definately is going to be affected by signal strength, although I still only show two bars. My VZ Wireless cell phone only has one bar at the same location.

I am sure it does.
I can see a difference in speed and rliability using  an Air Speed  108 Prtotocolg vs inbuild wireless  for example on laptops. the inbuild wireless cards have very limited reacch.
Anyways, back to original,  I found 3 WIFI spots in Blythe..get this one of them is McDoobies.......i guess they are supplying it now Huh
