We got FiOS last November (I just discovered this Forum!), and it is by far much better than I ever imagined. It is absolutely rock solid, even compared to DSL, and I get a consistent 15MBPS download speed. See my other post re: the installation, but I can summarize by saying that the FiOS installtion was the most accomodating, and the best install I have ever had. Including the 1998 DirecTV install, which was tops until this FioS install.
If you work in I.T., and you don't have FiOS, you need to figure out real quickly that FiOS is an investment in your future, so to speak, and get it if it is available in your area!
