    Sorry!!

I haven't been here in quite sometime.  Moxi as I have read in some other sites such as DSL.com is,  Moxi is a set top box manufactured by motorola.  The box is a multi room box with capabilities up to four rooms with a 160 GB hard drive, good for 23 hours of HD recording.  Verizon was suppose to have these beauties ready to go back in May, but low and behold no such thing.  Check it for yourself.

I had Moxi with my last Adelphia - now Time-Warner.  Moxi is a menu interface that is incredibly intuitive.  I miss it!  It ran on a Motorola STB provided by the cable company. What I liked about Moxi is that their program guide was very accurate and skipping through commercials or reviiewing programs was a breeze, from a few seconds to 15 minutes at a time. Very precise. Very nice. Verzon's menu system lacks compared to Moxi or Tivo.

You can look up info on at the following link - http:/www.moxi.com/

At GET MOXI, signup and they'll send Verizon a request to GET Moxi. Or send a request to Verizon to get Moxi.

My in-laws in AVL, NC have a Moxi box and it's the worst POS I've ever seen.  It's got a real slick interface, but navigating through everything is very cumbersome.  The pcictures constantly pixelated, which I guess could've been a cable co. problem, but overall, I was not impressed by the MOXI.

Wow!  That's the first negative comment I've ever heard about Moxi.  I wonder if maybe your in-laws didn't have it set up right.  You should go to Moxi's website (www.moxi.com) and see if anyone else has had that problem.  Maybe someone there will have a suggestion.  What you describe, is a very unusual problem.  Maybe it had a brain-fart and just needs a "reset".
